The Baguillion Cut Diamond

The Baguillion cut diamond is essentially a horizontally shaped baguette diamond with square corners with the faceting of a Princess cut diamond.

A Baguillion has between 56 and 58 facets.

Sometimes baguillions are cut in a tapered baguette shape with the longer ends narrowing down in a way that is similar to tapered baguettes. These are called tapillions.
